Interview : Priscell Elease

Hello Everyone

I had a wonderful opprotunity to do my very first interview with a young lady of many hats by the name of Ms. Priscell. This entreprenur of many face is one of the most beauitful and brightest spirits you'll ever come across. I am honored to have the opprotunity to cross paths with her. We've worked on many different projects together. That when I started this blog she was the first person I thought of interviewing. It was only by faith that I saw she was starting a new company called PoP Up & SwaP Up.

Me : Hello Priscell how are you doing today ?

PeP : I'm good! Thanks for asking. You Look Great ! So do you.

Me: Thank You
Now I know you personally from going to school with you and being in acting classes together. For those who don't know you, can you please tell us a little about yourself, who you are, where your from...

PeP : Well, I'm Priscell Elease or PeP. Most of my friends and family call me PeP, its my initials. I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana. I believe in Christ ( I had to put that in there). I've been in the military for about 13 years and I'm also a published model, thus you have my tag name "The Model Citizen". I wear so many hats! I have a degree in Film, and I'm also a fashion stylist, a motivator, and connector. Most people say I 'm witty, but I hardly think that what I'm saying is funny, especially when I'm being truthful.

Me : I've chosen you to be my very first interview because I love who you are as a person, I really love how passionate you are about your goals/dreams in life. this really isn't a question but yeah lol

PeP : Lol Yeah! That wasn't a question, but thanks!

Me : Can you let the People know what it is that you do.

PeP : I'm really good at living my life! I travel often, and I enjoy meeting new people. As a fashion stylist I spend lots of time researching trends and finding that "new" thing! Be it a hat, or those rocking clear combat boots, I do my best to stay on top of those things. I do closet re-mixes, style sessions as well as photo shoots. I've worked on films in the costume department which was a great experience but I prefer to work on photo shoots because there's more creative control.

Me : I recently saw that you started a company called pop up and swap up : Can you tell us what PoP Up & SwaP Up is.

PeP : Yes! This is my baby. No, seriously! PoP Up & SwaP Up is a unique shopping experience. I've combined clothing swapping, with pop up boutiques, and charities to create PoP Up & SwaP Up. Most women want to look good, but let's face it no one wants to spend tons of money to do so. A clothing swap gives you the option to swap new or gently used items in your wardrobe. It's like getting a whole new wardrobe! Of course, I'm on hand to help with style advice. The pop up boutiques are stocked with the latest and exclusive fashion finds for purchase. I feel its important to give back, so I research non-profit organizations to partner with for each event.

Me : What is the main goal for pop up and swap up ?

PeP : It is my goal to change the culture of how we shop , and how we give back. It's a culture change!

Me : How Can people (women) PoP Up & SwaP Up ?

PeP: They can PoP Up & SwaP Up with me! Where can they go ? Please add us on instagram @popupandswapup for dates and locations. It's a mobile shopping event so the location changes. From Brooklyn, to Baton Rouge you never know where we'll PoP Up & SwaP Up next. (location, web site)

Me : Are there any fees they'll have to pay.

PeP: My swaps have been free and open to the public. Moving forward they'll be a minimal fee based on location and the charity fundraising needs.
Me : Are there any other projects that you're working on ? Any events that you might be attending...

PeP : I'm just consumed with PoP Up & SwaP Up at this time. I plan on attending New Orleans Fashion Week. I'm excited to see what the designers will showcase,it's an exciting time in fashion!
Me : Last question then I'm going to let you go....where can people reach you at ?

PeP : The Citizens of The World can reach me at Priscell Elease on FB / TheModelCitizen on Twitter and Instagram/ PoP Up & Swap Up on Instagram and FB www.popupandswapup.com will be up soon!

Pepspopswap@gmail.com for PoP Up & SwaP Up vendors.

Me : Thank you so much for being my first interview

PeP : Thank you so much for having me!

The Beginning

I always thought about this quote by Buddha "The mind is everything...What you think you become".

When you have a mindset of being great that's what you become.

There are so many great people, like you and me, doing great things because they believe they can do anything.

Nothing is impossible, I truly believe, when you put it in your mind, you can do it.

No matter how far out of this world it is, it's possible.

This blog is to show great people doing great in life, Doing what they love to do not just what they have to do to get by.

Whether its starting a business, rapping, singing; doing whatever it takes to make their dreams happen.

I want this to be different then other blogs which mostly blog about people of fame.

The World we live in today is made up of amazing people doing wonderful and great things.

Everyone has dreams and goals in life that they would love to make come true but are to afraid to just get out and try to make something happen.

True the smallest things matter most in life, but to see something go beyond your wildest dreams is the best feeling in the world.

This is why I am doing this to show people they can do anything and nothing is impossible.

FCHW - Faith, Consistency, and Hard Work.

I truly believe in this.

Faith - Having a firm belief in what you're doing and trust that God has your back.

Consistency - Be firm in your purpose of your dreams/goals in life and you will see thing happen.

Hard Work - Giving you dreams/goal a 110% every time pushing your self beyond your normal limits.

When its said and done, we have complete control on how we make things happen.

All we have to do is believe.
